The Rural Maryland Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, was created in 2001 to support the efforts of the Rural Maryland Council, our federally recognized State Rural Development Council under the USDA. We want to celebrate both our accomplishments over the last year and ask you to help further support
our work and our rural Maryland communities.
During the last year, the Foundation helped the Council
to successfully:
• Complete the Transfer of Wealth Study and finalize the
Rural Maryland Philanthropic Development Report;
